Dear Parent/Carer,
After the Easter break pupils in S1, S2 and S3 will be eligible to take part in the current voluntary COVID-19 self-testing programme.
If your child wishes to take part here are some additional pieces of information:-
• Parents and Carers of S1, S2 and S3 pupils are invited to sign for and collect asymptomatic kits from Craigroyston Community High School this Wednesday 31st March and Thursday 1st April. We will have consent forms for you to sign and asymptomatic kits with instructions to take away. These will be made available from 11:30am – 3:30pm this Wednesday and Thursday
• There will be a further opportunity for S1, S2 and S3 parents and carers to sign for and collect asymptomatic kits from Craigroyston Community High School during the Easter holidays on Thursday 15th April from 11am – 1pm
• Where possible tests should be undertaken at home before attending school. We suggest undertaking tests on a Monday/Thursday (or Sunday/Wednesday evening if you do not have time in the morning)
• Pupils are not required to self-test during the forthcoming Easter break other than once immediately before their return to school
• Instructions on how to take the tests will be provided, it should take about 5 minutes to complete the test and the result can be checked after 30 minutes.
• If your child provides a positive test please alert the school immediately (0131 477 7801 or admin@craigroyston.edin.sch.uk ) book a PCR test (usual COVID test) and self-isolate. Contact tracing will then begin in school
