Daily Update – March 27

Dear Parents/Carers and Pupils of Craigroyston,

I hope you are all good and looking forward to the weekend when you can relax without having to think about doing school work! If you have completed all the hard copies of your work and cannot access our online activities, please message us – we can arrange to send you some more to keep you busy over the coming weeks!

Last night, many of you will have clapped in the streets for all our NHS workers who have been working round the clock to keep us all safe! Please send in your videos for us to share! I’ve posted my street for the video of the day! Everyone was out in their gardens or hanging out their windows clapping! It was really heartwarming to see everyone’s appreciation!

Yesterday’s challenge was to make beautiful rainbows to share joy! Thank you to Natalia Wysocka (S3) for her beautiful rainbow and to Maggie, David Baxter’s wee girl for her creation! Beautiful work girls! They will spread joy! 🌈🌈🌈

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend! Please get in touch if you need anything by messaging the Facebook page or emailing me at Shelley.McLaren@craigroyston.edin.sch.uk

Kind regards,
Mrs. McLaren

Our song of the day is ‘Work from Home’ by Fifth Harmony and is requested by Miss Dresser. Very appropriate!

Our quote of the day:

“Life doesn’t get easier and more forgiving, we get stronger and more resilient.

Our challenge of the day is baking scones or cakes! I know sooo many people have been putting their HE skills to great use and we want to see the evidence! Yum yum!

Our video of the day is celebrating the amazing hard work of our NHS workers! What an amazing team!

Yesterday’s Challenge of the Day: Making rainbows:
