Pupils in S1-6 have been selected to receive and attainment or attendance champion. Pupils have been chosen where further support would be beneficial to improve their attainment in S4-6 or their attendance in S1-6.
As part of this process pupils are paired with a member of staff who is their “champion”. They will regularly meet with the pupil to discuss strategies to improve their attainment or attendance and will be in regular contact with home to discuss their progress with this.
Pupils chosen that have been selected will get a letter to take home today. There is a tear-off slip that should be completed and returned to either Mr McFarlane or their champion. This letter details information about the programme, who their champion will be and gives information on an upcoming parental evening for this. Can we please ask that this tear-off slip is complete and returned to the school by the end of the school week.
Parental information evenings will be held as follows:
Attainment Champions – Wednesday 5th October (4pm-5pm)
Attendance Champions – Thursday 6th October (4pm-5pm)
