Dear Parents, Carers and Pupils of Craigroyston,
I hope everyone is good and staying safe! We’re all really missing seeing you at school – we’re missing the laughter and your stories and hearing about your successes each day! Hopefully it won’t be too long until we’re back to normality!
A few parents and pupils have been in touch to say that they require extra work in hard copy. We now have packs in labelled boxes at reception. The boxes are labelled ‘S1’, ‘S2’ and ‘S3’. Please feel free to come in today, tomorrow or Friday between 9am and 3pm to pick these up. There will not always be someone at reception but there are people in the building who will let you in – just keep ringing the buzzer if it doesn’t work first time! If a teacher is there they will give you the pack but please help yourself if not. Seniors have been emailing me too and I will give you individual work based on your subjects.
Yesterday’s challenge was to do a forward roll/roly poly! Going by the videos, many of you had a great time doing this challenge! It was certainly fun watching the videos! We had Ms. McNeill with her perfect forward roll; Mrs Hunter’s son, Max, doing his great flip on his trampoline; Skye and Ty Lamb using their garden to show us their expertise; Mr Freund very proudly doing his forward roll; Miss Cameron’s very professional forward roll and Mr. Baxter and his wee girl, Maggie, with a great joint effort! There were others sent in that didn’t want me to put up their great rolls but believe me they were good – and hilarious! Soooo many house points earned! Well done!
I would like to say thank you to you as a parent, carer or pupil for continuing to support our school through this difficult time and for working so hard even though you don’t have teachers in front of you to teach you – although I’m sure you’re family are doing a great job with this! As always, please let us know if there’s anything we can do to help through messaging the Facebook page or emailing me at Shelley.McLaren@craigroyston.edin.sch.uk.

Kind regards,
Mrs. McLaren
