Liam Begbie who’s mentor is Scott McNulty from Scottish Gas, has completed his paid internship and continues to do great work for Career Ready. Liam won the Edinburgh and Midlothian round of the Sir John Bissoff award and will now enter the interview panel for the rest of Scotland. Liam was successful and secured a prize of £1500 worth of goodies to set him up in his chosen career after school, this will be award to him at his official graduation. Liam faced an interview panel at Standard Life and answered questions, spoke of his experiences of his internship, discussed his fantastic mentor relationship, shared his experience of speaking at the Edinburgh DYW event and talking to potential new business partner in West Lothian’s launch with ease and charisma.
